It’s not a party unless there is a table loaded with appetizers for noshing! Be it a football game gathering or holiday get-together, one must-have is a savory cheese and beef log or cheese ball!

Cheese and Beef Appetizer Log

Ingredients

  • 2 8-oz. packages cream cheese
  • 1 2-oz. package dried beef chopped
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 green onions chopped
  • 1 pinch MSG
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Crackers of your choice

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream cheese, dried beef, Worcestershire sauce, green onions and MSG; mix well and refrigerate until chilled.  

  2. Mix together the chopped pecans and parsley.

  3. Roll cheese into a log (or a ball), then roll in pecans and parsley to cover. Serve with your favorite crackers.
