Homemade soup – what a great way to warm up on a chilly evening. Even better, you can use leftover ham from your family’s holiday dinner. Simple and quick to make! I would sprinkle in some freshly ground pepper, one of my other favorite seasonings!
Crock Pot Ham and Bean Soup

- 2 bay leaves
- 1 1/4 cups chopped onion
- 1 1/2 cups carrot slices
- 1/2 cup celery slices

- Combine the first 4 ingredients in a crockpot and cook on HIGH for 3 hours.
- Add carrot and celery slices to the pot and continue to cook on HIGH another 2 hours.
Add diced ham, salt and MSG; cook another 1-2 hours on LOW. Serve hot.
